Spanish Cognate Stories of Cultural Experiences

These 13 lessons are based on experiences (often humorous) pertaining to Hispanic culture. They are written in Spanglish, with cognates (similar words in both languages) written in Spanish. Cognates normally make up 15-25% of the vocabulary in Spanish. Students will learn many words in Spanish that they will already recognize. I also provide 30 important words that are not cognates that will increase high frequency vocabulary. We will practice this vocabulary and cognates with the Present, Present Progressive, and the Present Perfect Tenses. We will also learn and review basic first year grammar Principles with nouns Masculine/Feminine, Singular/Plural, the Definite/Indefinite articles and the Possessive and Demonstrative Adjectives. This course is appropriate for those that are beginners or at the intermediate level. I explain or review the Grammar and Verb tenses as we do each lesson. There are 44 worksheets and videos (24 hours 9 minutes)
